SF Recruitment are working with a business based in Bristol (BS11) who are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join the team
£29,425 (Day Shifts) + Allowances

POSITION:
To manage a team of Warehouse Operatives, with responsibility for the performance, development and motivation of the team.
Ensure agreed levels of customer service are achieved, and that company policy and all legal obligations are met.
Ensure that the operation is run efficiently, exceeding the delivery of Warehouse KPI's, and in line with Health & Safety and required customer service standards.
To ensure processes are in place to maintain stock accuracy and to work with the IT Department and Supervisors to identify and resolve any systems issues which may be affecting KPI performance and stock accuracy.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure all areas of the operation are performing as per the standard operating procedures and maintained in line with ISO standards, and that standard forms are being used.
Plan, manage and adjust staffing levels to meet operational requirements.
Manage the absence procedure by ensuring that guidelines within relevant HR policy are met and that any persistent absence is escalated to your line manager and HR.
Ensure daily forklift and weekly racking inspections are carried out.
Ensure product handling standards are maintained at all times.
Ensure that all operational legislative requirements are complied with and fulfilled at all times. This will include completing all accident investigations promptly and thoroughly.
Deliver Employee Performance reviews, manage development and / or succession planning as appropriate.
Coach and develop team members to facilitate personal and professional growth, enabling the individual to develop to their full potential.
Ensure correct processes are followed for disciplinaries and grievances in line with HR policy.
Attendance at internal meetings, or with the customer, as may be required.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Ability to motivate and lead teams to achieve KPIs.
Understanding of warehouse principles (e.g. goods in, stock check, pick, pack, dispatch, H&S, MHE).
Ability to work on own initiative and under pressure.
Proven ability to set team objectives to meet specific targets.
Strong communication skills across all levels
Good time management skills
Flexibility and willingness to work long hours.
High level of IT literacy, including Microsoft Word and Excel, and a good understanding of data reporting.
