Purchasing Coordinator
Role: Purchasing Coordinator
Salary: £30K
Location: Monsall
Role Type: Temporary - 12 months
SF Recruitment are proud to be partnering again with a UK leading wholesaler, in searching for a temporary Purchasing Coordinator to cover Maternity leave. If you are organised, detail-orientated and ready to make an immediate impact, this could be the role for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support procurement processes, including purchase order creation and management
- Input and process of all purchase orders in an accurate and timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, orders, and logistics data.
- Communicate with the Logistics coordinator to ensure timely shipping and purchasing efficiency
- Track purchase spend by product range and supplier
- Assist in preparing reports and analysing data to improve efficiency.
- Handle administrative tasks related to shipping, logistics, and compliance.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience with production expediting (essential)
- Proven success providing administrative support within a procurement/buying function
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- A proactive mindset and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong IT skills in Microsoft Offices Packages, ideally in Microsoft Navison
