Salary: Up to £45,000 + Excellent Benefits

SF Recruitment are exclusively recruiting for a leading manufacturing business in Bristol, who are looking to hire a Supplier Compliance Engineer for a brand new role within their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business and play a crucial role in ensuring supplier compliance and maintaining high-quality standards.

About the Role:
As a Supplier Compliance Engineer, you will be responsible for managing the supplier compliance process, conducting audits, and ensuring adherence to industry standards. You will collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and third-party partners to ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement across the business.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct supplier audits and warehouse spot checks to ensure compliance.
Manage supplier onboarding, verification, and maintain accurate data records.
Handle third-party complaints, investigate root causes, and implement corrective actions.
Perform product testing, manage external testing, and maintain compliance records.
Collaborate with Procurement, Supply Chain, and Technical teams to ensure quality control.
Develop and improve in-house testing methods aligned with industry regulations.
Participate in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Provide training and guidance to compliance and supply chain teams.

What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in supplier compliance, quality assurance, or auditing within the manufacturing sector.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive, analytical approach.
- Ability to manage supplier relationships and work cross-functionally with internal teams.
- Experience with ISO standards and auditing processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate and resolve compliance issues.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting to track compliance trends.
