Senior Management Accountant

SF Recruitment are seeking a Senior Management Accountant for a leading manufacturing company based near Shropshire that is expanding its finance team and requires someone with extensive manufacturing experience to drive financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly management accounts focusing on production costs and variances.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting for manufacturing operations.
• Analyse manufacturing costs and efficiencies to identify improvement areas.
• Collaborate with production teams on cost implications of new projects.
• Monitor inventory and optimise stock levels with supply chain management.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations in the manufacturing sector.
• Mentor junior team members and enhance reporting processes.

Requirements:

• ACCA, CIMA, or ACA qualified (or qualified by experience).
• Extensive experience in manufacturing finance.
• Strong analytical skills and Excel proficiency.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Candidates must be immediately available or on a one-week notice period.
