Job Title: Senior BI & Data Analyst
Company: World Leading AI Tech Scale-Up
Location: Hybrid (1-2 Days per Week in Office - London)
Contract Type: Contract (3-6 months)
Purpose of the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior BI & Data Analyst to join our client on a contract basis. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing Power BI dashboards, developing comprehensive reports, defining KPIs, analysing product usage data, and centralising insights into a cohesive format.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Conduct product analysis and generate actionable insights from usage data.
- Utilize SQL, DBT, and Redshift to manage and analyse large datasets.
- Centralise data insights and reporting to streamline business intelligence processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand data requirements.
- KPI Definitions
- Use GitHub for version control and collaboration.
Requirements of the Senior BI & Data Consultant:
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of significant experience in BI development, with a strong focus on Microsoft Power BI.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, and provide critical insights to senior management and key stakeholders.
- Expertise in Power BI: Proficiency in creating complex Power BI reports, dashboards, power query, DAX, data models, and data integration from various sources.
- Power BI Dataflows: Proficiency in creating and managing Power BI Dataflows to ingest, transform, and prepare data for analysis and reporting.
- Data Visualization: Ability to design visually appealing reports and dashboards, utilising effective data visualizations to convey insights to stakeholders.
- SQL Proficiency: Solid understanding of SQL for data manipulation, querying, and performance tuning.
- Version Control: Familiarity with version control systems like Git for managing Power BI projects and collaboration.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Power BI reports, data connections, and performance. Experience in performance analytics & financial reporting.
Additional Information:
- This position is a contract role, outside IR35, with a duration of 3-6 months.
- The role requires a hybrid working arrangement, with 1-2 days per week in the London office.
- Candidates will be required to take a test (approximately 30 minutes).
