Sales/Purchasing Administrator
Job title: Sales/Purchasing Administrator
Salary: £26.5k
Location: Dukinfield
I am looking for an experienced Sales Administrator to join my client's team, based at a manufacturing company in Dukinfield. You will be responsible for providing a variety of customer service solutions to support the organization's evolving needs and ensuring an efficient supply chain while maintaining a strong commercial focus. Additionally, you will assist the Commercial Director in achieving departmental objectives.
Responsibilities include:
- Process and manage customer orders, documentation, and quotations per company policies.
- Maintain sales records and track customer engagement via the CRM system.
- Administer invoices and handle reporting as required.
- Identify material shortages and communicate across teams.
- Ensure excellent customer service through proactive collaboration.
- Coordinate planning, logistics, and packaging.
- Monitor OTIF performance and overdue deliveries, providing internal feedback.
- Support the External Sales team and adhere to ISO9001 standards.
- Perform additional duties as required.
The ideal candidate will:
- Posses excellent communication skills
- Proven experience within a sales administrator or general administrator role
- Have a strong customer focus and be committed to increasing customer satisfaction
- Have the ability to keep to deadlines and meet targets
