Payroll Officer (12 month Fixed Term Contract)
SF Recruitment are looking for an immediately available experienced payroll candidate for a 12 month fixed term contract near Redditch.
Based on site 5 days a week. The purpose of this job is effectively run the monthly payroll from start to end for all employees, including an expat and pension payroll.
General / Generic skills and experience:
o All payroll processing activities for monthly payroll
o Submissions to HMRC
o Payroll payment authorisation
o HM Customs and Revenue communications
o System process evaluation and improvement
o Expat payroll and tax analysis
o Pension administration, including auto-enrolment, life assurance etc.
o Understanding of statutory payments, Maternity, Paternity, Parental, sick pay etc.
o Year-end submission; P11D, P60's
o Assist the Finance and HR departments when required
o Ad hoc duties as specified by the Head of Finance
Specific skills and experience to role:
o Good understanding of Payroll procedures and rules
o Good understanding of Year end Procedures
o Familiarity with Benefits and other Salary deductions
o Multi-Tasking Abilities
o Ability to work on strict Deadlines
o Follows instructions and procedures well
o Data Protection
o Discretion and integrity
