Part-Time Data Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Part-Time Data Analyst - Credit Management to join our finance team. This role is crucial in providing robust daily reporting, generating strategic insights, and monitoring performance to enhance decision-making. The ideal candidate will take a hands-on approach to data analysis, driving continuous improvement in data flows that support customers through their debt journeys.

Key Responsibilities

Use SQL to analyse collections data, identifying key trends and performance indicators.

Develop actionable insights to improve collections efficiency and overall performance.

Collaborate with collections teams to implement data-driven strategies for optimising debt recoveries.

Prepare and present reports on collections performance, including recommendations for improvement.

Identify and support system enhancements (e.g., Power BI, ERP systems) to enable data-driven decision-making.

Enhance data accuracy and workflow within the collections process.

Ensure secure data transfer across internal teams and third-party partners.

Maintain compliance with data security and GDPR regulations.

Key Skills & Experience

Essential:

Degree-level qualification or equivalent professional certification.

Strong SQL skills with experience in data analysis to drive performance.

Ability to translate operational requirements into actionable data insights.

Experience in developing reports and business intelligence solutions.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data simply.

Track record of continuous improvement in a data-driven role.

High attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines.

Desirable:

Experience with ERP data and reporting solutions (e.g., SAP S4).

Proficiency in Power BI and Salesforce.

Hands-on experience with SQL query tools (e.g., TOAD Data Point, SQL Server Management Studio).
