Marketing and Events Coordinator
SF Recruitment are recruiting for a Marketing and Events Coordinator to join our clients team in Birmingham City Centre, on a 12 month fixed-term contract.
£26,000 per annum
Hybrid working (after 6 months probation)
Immediate start available
Responsibilities:
Support Events Calendar:
Assist with the group-wide membership events calendar, including operational and marketing activities.
Operational Lead for Member Events:
Collaborate with Divisional Leads to manage member events.
Handle venue sourcing, setup, delegate details, booking and registration, invoicing, internal communications, and on-the-day event management.
Marketing Campaign Support:
Assist with marketing campaigns related to member events:
Liaise with designers and agencies on creative briefs.
Create marketing schedules for internal approval.
Manage social media communications.
Execute email marketing campaigns.
Create content for regular newsletters.
Digital Assets and Collateral:
Create digital assets and marketing collateral, ensuring designs are engaging.
Budget Adherence:
Follow the set member events budget.
Additional Marketing Tasks:
Undertake additional marketing tasks as required.
Knowledge, Skills, & Experience:
Essential:
Minimum of two years' recent experience in corporate events delivery and marketing.
Demonstrable skills in:
Copywriting, editing, and proofreading.
Strong written and verbal communication.
Effective time management and ability to work independently.
Good planning, organisation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other content creation applications.
Desirable:
Experience in marketing to a B2B audience.
Passion for marketing and digital channels.
Professional, result-oriented, mature, and adaptable approach.
