SF are working exclusively with a great client of ours who have an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to develop and progress, this role has the potential to become a Financial Controller within a couple of years. This role is based on Pride Park and will be full time, permanent with flexible working options.

Job duties:
- Budgeting and forecasting process for the P&L's for each entity
- Working closely with the financial accountant on the review process of the monthly close
- Analysis and reporting of sales by project, including revenue recognition assessment
- Analysis and reporting of cost of sales by project, including supplier rebates & accrual assessment
- Analysis and reporting of all areas of business overheads
- Variance analysis of actual performance versus budget & prior year
- Preparing consolidated group financial reporting package
- Regular reporting of risks & opportunities
- Tracking foreign currency impact to the business
- Business partnering with the wider business in terms of providing analysis and alignment of financial information
- Reconciliations and bridges between the different operating systems (Eque2, Sage, Xero, WFM)
- Reviewing accruals & prepayments
- Maintaining the Chart of Accounts, including mapping and departments / GL's
- Supporting the preparation of the annual reports and accounts
- Working closely with the financial accountant on the review process of the monthly close
- Driving process & systems optimisation, championing digitalisation
- Developing group financial policies manual
- Reviewing of internal control framework including delegation of authority matrix
- Promoting a knowledge sharing & continuous improvement culture within Finance and across the wider business

The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Graduate degree or AAT Qualified and looking to study ACA/ACCA/CIMA
- Ambitious
- Team player
- 2 years working in a similar background and involved in Month - End preparation
