Customer Service Professional required in Ripley!
Location: Ripley, Derbyshire - With the ability to work from our Telford office once every six weeks (you must have a valid driving license and access to your own car).
Salary: £26,500 per annum + £1,000 bonus
Full Time, Permanent (37.5 hours per week, 8:30am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday office based)

About the Role:
Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and have a knack for managing orders from start to finish? SF Recruitment are working in partnership with a fantastic business in Ripley who are seeking a proactive Customer Service Agent to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will ensure that every customer order is processed with precision and care, maintaining a high level of service excellence that keeps customers coming back.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage a dedicated customer base, ensuring every order, inquiry, and request (including quotations and sample requests) is handled quickly and accurately.
  • Manage the end-to-end order function by processing incoming orders using dedicated systems, ensuring clear communication with customers throughout the order lifecycle.
  • Manage debit/credit notes, proforma invoicing, and account status updates to keep customers fully informed.
  • Effectively manage complaints and returns, using your negotiation and issue-resolution skills to turn challenges into opportunities.
  • Liaise with supply chain partners and third parties to ensure timely delivery of orders.
  • Work closely with their manufacturing plants to optimise product availability and support revenue growth.
  • Occasionally prepare customer drawing presentations using CAD software to assist with product specifications.
  • Meet and exceed set targets, contributing to our overall goal of delivering the right product and service, at the right time, to the right customer every time.

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably within retail or a product services environment.
  • A strong customer focus with a drive to go the extra mile.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • A commercial mindset with proven time management and organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and experience with order processing systems.
