The Engineering & Manufacturing division of SF Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Commissioning and Service Manager to join an organisation based near Nottingham on a permanent basis.
Scope of role
- Installation and commissioning of bulk materials handling systems
- Ability to set up a safe working environment with Health & Safety controls and act as principal contractor on large installations.
- Able to manage sub-contract / 3rd party labour in their installations.
- Prepare training documentation and present customer/end user training.
- Day-to-day management of assigned commissioning engineers.
- Emergency call-out work to attend site or via remote connection, telephone, e-mail.
Essential Criteria
- Apprenticeship / HND or degree preferred
- Experience of installation and commission of equipment in an industrial environment
- Experience in industry holding a supervisory position
- Willingness to work prolonged periods away for customer projects.
