Business Analyst

Working with a leading brand based in South Birmingham in their search for a Business Analyst to join an evergrowing team. Permanent role paying £37,000 - £47,000 base D.O.E + great benefits. You will be needed on site 3 days a week with Mondays and Fridays from home.

This is a rare opportunity to get involved in a state-of-the-art transformation programme. If you are a junior-mid level Business Analyst who has been involved in an ERP project with over 2 years of similar experience, this could be for you. 

Job Purpose:
 Document and analyse business processes, products, services, solutions and data to identify and make recommendations for business efficiency improvements.
 Analyse the impact of proposed solution on business operations including processes, products, services, solutions and data.
 Maintain a library of business requirements and collaborate with change management processes to translate business needs into clear and comprehensive functional and non-functional specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
 Conduct business landscape analysis, define problems, and recommend solutions aligned with organisational goals.
 Plan and manage feasibility assessments, evaluate financial, technical, and strategic options and develop business cases.
 Gather, document, and prioritise business requirements, ensuring alignment with solutions and project objectives.
 Collaborate with internal teams, external stakeholders and vendors to ensure successful delivery of solutions.
 Assist in testing, process documentation, and buy vs. build decisions.
 Drive knowledge-sharing, promote continuous improvement and enhance technology standards.
 Manage workloads and support cross-functional process improvements.
 Ensure compliance with governance frameworks, policies and stakeholder needs.

Experience/Requirements:
 Minimum 2+ years in a similar Business Analyst role
 Understanding of business process reengineering and business modelling concepts
 Strong and clear communication skills
 Good analytical and writing skills
 Familiarity with governance, compliance, and process improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma).
