Assistant Revenue Accountant required for an excellent business based in Solihull. If you are looking for progression in your finance career, whilst also maintaining a great work-life balance, this role may be for you!

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum
Hybrid Working: 3 days in the office

Responsibilities:
Generate sales invoices for customers, ensuring alignment with their specific requirements and internal processes, utilising both in-house systems and Microsoft Excel.
Address and resolve any issues, queries, or complaints related to customer invoices.
Proactively engage with customers to ensure prompt payment and timely settlement of their accounts.
Collaborate closely with the Credit Controller to address and resolve any outstanding issues.
Prepare reconciliations to ensure high levels of invoicing accuracy.
Assist with month-end revenue recognition tasks, including accruals and revenue reconciliations.
Support the Revenue Accountant and Financial Accountant with VAT returns and audits.
Maintain accurate customer accounts and rate information within internal systems.
Provide support across all aspects of the Sales Ledger function.
Perform ad-hoc tasks as required to meet the needs of the business and its customers.
Key Skills & Competencies:

Required:
Previous experience in a finance role.
Transactional experience would be beneficial.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, particularly with formulas.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
High attention to detail.
Ability to collaborate effectively with individuals at all organisational levels, both internally and externally.
Capacity to work under pressure in a dynamic, changing environment.
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work.
