Assistant Accountant

Assistant Accountant required for an exciting 6-month contract for a high growth SME in Wolverhampton, with potential to go permanent. Reporting to the Finance Manager your role will cover all aspect within the finance department, providing support to the existing team and managers across the wider business. You will be joining a small finance team that prides itself on strong values and a caring working culture. The business is on an upward trajectory which could lead to numerous future opportunities

You will be responsible for:
- Supporting the Management accounting process
- Journals, prepayments, accruals
- Assist Finance Manager in month end duties
- Petty cash processing and reconciliation
- Sales invoice processing
- Running Monthly Payroll

My client is seeking a candidate who is happy working 4 days a week and has the following experience:

- Ideally Part Qualified AAT/ACCA/CIMA
- End to Payroll experience
- Experience of Xero would be an advantage
