Temporary Accounts Administrative Assistant (Office-Based - Shrewley)
We are looking for a Temporary Administrative Assistant to support our finance team during a busy period. This role would suit an organised, methodical individual with strong attention to detail and good communication skills.

Reporting to: Branch Accountant
The Role
The successful candidate will support the processing of annual financial returns from approximately 330 branches, all of which are due by 31 January. This is primarily an administrative role, working closely with the Branch Accountant who has overall responsibility for the returns.
Key responsibilities include:
Accessing branch account emails and saving documentation to the correct branch folders on SharePoint
Processing incoming annual returns submitted in Excel format
Copying and pasting data into a central branch tracker spreadsheet
Assisting with basic queries received by email or telephone, escalating more complex issues to the Branch Accountant
Ensuring information is filed accurately and within deadlines
About You
Previous administrative experience
Basic Excel knowledge (comfortable opening spreadsheets and copying/pasting data)
Highly organised, methodical, and self-motivated
Confident communicator, both written and verbal
Able to work to tight deadlines and manage a high volume of information
A full driving licence and access to a car is essential, as the role is office-based in Shrewley
Although many of our staff work flexibly, this role requires regular attendance in the office.
